ABOUT ACRYL

For more than 20 years acryl has been regarded as the best and still unsurpassed material for the production of bathtubs and other sanitary ware. There were some attempts in the last decade in the USA and some other countries to replace acryl with some other plastic materials, but these attempts have been abandoned so far .

Akril se odlikuje postojanošću boje, visokom tvrdoćom, hemijskom otpornošću i drugim osobinama koje su bile nepoznate kod klasičnih metalnih kada. Pri dodiru sa telom, akrilni materijal nema onu karakterističnu neprijatnu hladnoću kao metalne kade ili keramika. Sjaj livenog akrila je tako visok da podseća na svima znani porcelan.

Acryl has been famous for color stability, high hardness, chemical resistance and other features that are non-existent in case of classic metal bathtubs. When in contact with human body, acryl does not create that unpleasant effect of cold, which is common for ceramic and metal bathtubs. The gloss of cast acryl is very intense, as if it were originating from golden porcelain .
Maintenance of the bathtub is very easy. The solidity of acrylic mass is such that it does not permit heavy settlement of impurities on the walls and bottom of the bathtub. In case of some minor impurities, common dish washing detergents can remove the same. Do not, on any account, use sand or abrasive powder for dishes or metal bathtubs (such as VIM), which mechanically removes impurities. In this case, you would destroy the gloss of your bathtub for good.
